Introduction
How to add text on top of TikTok video posts that you want to share? We’ll show you how to do this now then let’s get started.
Make a Video
The first step is having a TikTok video that lets you place the text in the background of it. Make sure that you leave enough space in the text so that the reader will be able to read it in full and point out that area or glaring with your eyes.
After recording a video, ensure you mark the check box in the bottom right corner at the bottom.
Add Text
Choose where you want your text to appear on the video by tapping on the text button. Then type in the first line you want to appear.
Style Text
The text can be stylized by tapping a font from the menu. Click on any of the colored dots to change the color of your text.
Text Alignment
You can also adjust the text that appears on your screen by changing the alignment options.
Text Appearance
Just tap “Done” when you’re happy with the text’s length and format. Then drag the text to where you want it to appear.
Text Box
To adjust the timing of text appearance and disappearance in your video tap on the textbox and select the clock icon.
Video Timeline
Now, with a slider at the bottom, you can place the pink box that appears as an overlay on your video timeline.
Text Placement
You can now adjust the placement of your text to ensure it appears at the correct location on the screen. Once you’re satisfied with your placement, tap the play button and watch your video.
Click Play
Edit the text in your video to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible. When you’re happy with the result, add a checkmark to turn it play.
