According to a report, the tech giant Google is testing dark color themes for android users; a new dark theme introduced for search apps with the beta update.
Last week, a few users noticed that their search pages were converted to dark color instead of the original color. Also, another user reported a change in the link color, and the quick setting panel color changed to the black theme.
The dark theme only applies to the background of Google Discover in android smartphones. The desktop background color is closer to black, not full black. The search field also changed into pill-shaped. You can choose a light or dark theme google search for desktop.
Still not sure that the new dark theme will only be limited to the search, or it will extend to other apps. It’s not available for every user because the theme is a part of the beta update. You can get this dark theme for google apps by installing version 13.8 from the beta channel.
