According to Digital Chat Station, Vivo has started manufacturing a charger that is certified in China and can deliver 200W of power to mobile devices. The new standard could be available on IQOO 10 Pro smartphones by the end of the year.
The V2001L0B0-CN adapter has a charge capacity of 20V/10A and allows wireless charging at 20V/3.25A or 65W. In comparison, the latest iQOO 9 Pro offers wired 120-watt fast charging and wireless 50-watt charging.
Having a charger that can reach 200W is not a new concept in the industry. Realme has also created a charging architecture that delivers charging speeds ranging from 100W to 200W. However, to ensure consumer safety, it was limited to 150W in the Realme GT Neo3 smartphone, and it remains the fastest charging speed available today.
As companies constantly strive to claim new titles such as “World’s First” for marketing purposes, it is anticipated that this record will soon be surpassed.
