It’s not hidden that Samsung has dominated the foldable phone market, largely due to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, which was the biggest-selling bendable phone last year. There are a lot of improvements over the Z Flip 3. This model has a more prominent display, better durability, and a smoother inner display. However, it is possible that the next model, which could be called the Z Flip 4, will offer a battery upgrade.
The 3,300mAh battery packs in all three Z Flip phones is barely enough to last a day. According to Galaxy Club, the Flip 4 will have a bigger battery.
SM-F721, known as the Flip 4, has a larger ‘sub’ battery than Samsung’s other foldable phones, which feature dual batteries. Increasing the capacity by 100mAh will bring the overall advertised capacity to 3,400mAh.
Although it is a slight change, it is at least something. In addition, it’s not just the battery capacity that affects battery life. According to an insider, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus will power the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which should theoretically be more efficient than the Flip 3 due to its higher-end processing node compared to the Flip 3.
We don’t know yet if the device will be able to charge faster than 15W. Many other details remain unclear. Possibly the Flip 4 will feature exactly the same design as the Flip 3. This would imply that it will have a 6.7-inch inner screen and a 1.9-inch cover screen.
Due in large part to a controversial battery supplier, the phone is likely to cost less than the Flip 3, which starts at $999. In addition to the Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Watch 5, which may not have thermometers, it will likely be launched in August.
