Acer unveiled the beTouch E110, a phone with GSM and HSPA capabilities, in 2010. The 2G bands GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and 3G bands HSDPA 900/2100 are both supported by this smartphone. With a peak speed of HSPA 3.6/0.384 Mbps, it is also compatible with HSDPA 850/ 1900 networks.
Acer beTouch E110 needs a Mini-SIM card and measures 103.5 x 54 x 13.4 mm and weighs 105 g. The phone is powered by a ST Ericsson PNX6715 CPU clocked at 416MHz and runs Android 1.5 Cupcake.
Memory and Display
This device has 256MB of onboard RAM and relies on a specialized microSD card slot for memory and storage. The touchscreen features a TFT resistive display with a 2.8-inch dimension that offers a brilliant range of 256K colors. A 4:3 aspect ratio is maintained by the display resolution setting of 240 x 320 pixels. The screen has a 143 PPI pixel density.
Acer beTouch E110 has a single 3.15 MP camera on board; there is no front-facing selfie camera.
The beTouch E110 has a WLAN connection but does not support Bluetooth or GPS. Dual USB connections and a stereo FM radio help make up for this. The browser supports a number of formats, including MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ players, MP4/WMV/H.264 players, HTML widgets, and multimedia menus. Its capabilities are further enhanced by the addition of Pocket Office and voice memo features. The user experience is enhanced with predictive text input.
A built-in loudspeaker and a common 3.5mm audio jack improve the quality of the audio.
Longevity is ensured by the device’s detachable 1500 mAh battery. It has a suggested retail price of 70 euros and comes in black and dark blue variations.
