Acer announced the Liquid M220 in March 2015; however, it was discontinued just two months later in May. The Liquid M220 supported 2G bands for GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G bands for HSPA 900/2100.
The phone measures 124.9 x 64 x 9.6 mm and weighs 119 g (4 oz). It offers a SIM card slot that is compatible with both Single SIM and Dual SIM configurations, supporting dual standby mode. The device runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and is powered by an MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chipset built on a 28 nm process. This chipset features two 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 cores and supports Adreno 302 GPUs for graphics processing.

The Acer Liquid M220 is equipped with a front-facing camera boasting 5 MP resolution, while the rear-facing camera offers 8 MP resolution. The phone features an LED flash, panorama mode, and the ability to capture videos. Additionally, it includes a 2 MP selfie camera for capturing self-portraits.
The Acer Liquid M220 supports a WLAN hotspot, enabling internet connectivity through Wi-Fi 802.11. It also features Bluetooth 4.0 with support for A2DP, allowing for audio streaming. The phone is equipped with GPS functionality, which can be enhanced by A-GPS for more precise location tracking. However, NFC is not available on this device. Additionally, it includes an FM radio that can be utilized to listen to music, news stations, and receive emergency alerts when connected to a compatible smartphone app. The phone’s sensors are capable of detecting movement and proximity.

The Acer Liquid Z220 is powered by a removable Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery, offering a standby time of up to 200 hours. The talk time on this device can reach up to 4 hours. The phone is available in two colors: Mystic Black and Pure White. The approximate price of the device is around 80 euros.
