Acer Liquid X1 Review

The Acer Liquid X1 was introduced in June 2014, and it became available in September. Since then, though, it has been abandoned. With its support for GSM, HSPA, and LTE technology, this phone offers a wide range of network compatibility. It utilizes GSM 2G bands 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 3G bands 900/2100, and 4G bands 3 and 7. The phone provides effective data access thanks to HSPA and LTE capabilities.

Processor

The phone weighs 164 g and measures 153.3 x 80.4 x 8.5 mm. It runs on the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system and accepts Micro-SIM cards. The Mediatek MT6592 (28 nm) chipset, which houses an octa-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz and a Mali-450MP4 GPU, powers the device.

Memory and Display

In addition to its 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM, this phone has a dedicated microSDHC card slot that offers additional storage possibilities. The screen is 5.7 inches in size and has a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution. For increased durability, it is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Camera

A 13 MP camera on the phone’s back with autofocus and an LED light ensures outstanding photo-taking abilities. It features a 2 MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

Features

Acer Liquid X1 has a number of communication choices, including Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP support and WLAN 802.11 b/g/n hotspot. Additionally, it has an FM radio for on-the-go entertainment and GPS with A-GPS for pinpoint location monitoring. The device also has a micro USB 2.0 port for data transfer and charging, as well as necessary sensors including an accelerometer and a proximity sensor.

Sound

Acer Liquid X1 has a built-in loudspeaker and a 3.5mm connector, giving users the choice of listening to audio through the built-in loudspeaker or connecting headphones or external speakers via the jack.

Battery

A detachable Li-Ion 2700 mAh battery on this phone provides consumers with convenient power options. It has a respectable battery life, with a standby time of up to 250 hours on 3G and a talk time of 6 hours. It comes in graphite black and wine red, giving users the option to select their favourite color and design. Given its features and capabilities, it is an affordable option at around 260 Euros.
