The Acer Predator 8 was announced in September 2015 and made available for purchase in November of the same year. Notably, this device lacked cellular connectivity and only supported 2G bands. As a result, the GPRS service and Edge network were not available for use with this device.

The Acer Predator 8 measures 8.58 x 5.0 x 0.34 inches in dimensions, and it weighs 353.8 g when a SIM card is not installed. Running on the Intel Atom x7-Z8700 chipset, the device operates on the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system. It is powered by a quad-core 1.6 GHz CPU, providing efficient processing capabilities.

The Acer Predator 8 features a dedicated microSDXC slot, allowing users to expand the storage capacity with ease.
