Design and Display

The Gionee P15 features a modern design with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display that has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone has a dimension of 164.7 x 76.3 x 9 mm, making it relatively compact and easy to hold in one hand. The Gionee P15 has dual-SIM support, which allows users to use two different SIM cards simultaneously. This is a useful feature for people who travel frequently or need to maintain separate numbers for personal and work use.

Processor

The Gionee P15 phone uses the Android 11 (Go edition) operating system, which is a lightweight version of the standard Android 11 operating system designed for low-end devices with limited resources.

The phone is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset, built on the 28nm process. It features an octa-core processor, consisting of 4 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. The Cortex-A55 is a power-efficient core designed for use in mid-range and low-end devices.

The phone’s graphics processing unit (GPU) is the IMG8322, which is a low-end GPU designed for use in budget devices. It is capable of handling basic graphics tasks such as web browsing, video playback, and light gaming.

Camera

The Gionee P15 phone has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 13 MP primary sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), a 0.08 MP secondary sensor, and another 0.08 MP sensor. The primary sensor is a wide-angle lens that allows for capturing a broader field of view, while the other two sensors are likely used for depth sensing and low-light performance enhancement.

The camera setup also features an LED flash, which helps in low-light conditions by providing additional lighting to the scene.

On the front, the Gionee P15 phone has an 8 MP selfie camera, which is suitable for capturing good-quality selfies and making video calls. It may also have some basic camera features such as beautification, portrait mode, and HDR for enhancing the overall image quality.

Memory

The Gionee P15 phone has a dedicated microSDXC card slot, which allows you to expand the device’s storage capacity up to 256 GB by using a microSD card. This gives you more space to store your photos, videos, music, and other files.

In terms of internal storage, the Gionee P15 phone has 32GB of storage capacity, which is a decent amount of space for a budget smartphone. This should be sufficient for storing essential apps, media files, and documents.

The device also has 2GB of RAM, which is a modest amount of memory. While it may not be sufficient for running multiple apps simultaneously or playing heavy games, it should be enough for basic tasks such as web browsing, social media, and light gaming.

Sound and Features

The Gionee P15 phone comes with a loudspeaker that provides decent sound quality for media playback, calls, and notifications. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect their wired headphones or speakers for a more immersive audio experience.

The phone also supports WLAN (Wi-Fi), which allows users to connect to the internet wirelessly using a Wi-Fi network. Additionally, it has Bluetooth connectivity, which enables users to connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices such as headphones, speakers, and smartwatches.

The Gionee P15 phone has GPS functionality, which allows users to navigate using location-based services such as Google Maps.

The phone does not have NFC (Near Field Communication) capabilities, which means that it cannot be used for contactless payments or data transfers. Additionally, the radio specifications of the phone are unspecified, so it is unclear whether it has an FM radio or not.

The Gionee P15 phone uses a micro USB port for charging and data transfer, and it also supports OTG (On-The-Go) connectivity, which allows users to connect USB peripherals such as flash drives and game controllers.

The phone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which provides secure and convenient unlocking. It also has other sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass, which are commonly found in most smartphones and enhance the user experience.

Battery

The Gionee P15 phone is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery, which provides ample battery life for a budget smartphone. This should last for a full day of moderate use on a single charge.

The phone is available in three different colors: Black, Blue, and Light Blue. This gives users some choice in terms of personalizing their device to their preferred style.

The Gionee P15 phone is priced at about 100 EUR, which is a budget-friendly price point. It is designed for users who require basic smartphone functionality without having to pay a premium price for high-end features.
