Design and Display

The Samsung DuosTV I6712 has a compact and lightweight design, measuring 109.5 x 61 x 12 mm and weighing just 102g. The device comes with a dual SIM card slot, which allows users to use two different phone numbers on the same device at the same time. This is a convenient feature for people who want to separate their personal and work phone numbers, or for those who frequently travel to different countries and need to use multiple SIM cards.

The Samsung DuosTV I6712 features a TFT display with 256K colors and a size of 3.2 inches. The screen resolution is 240 x 400 pixels, which provides a decent level of clarity and detail for most tasks.

Camera

The Samsung DuosTV I6712 comes with a 3.15-megapixel primary camera, which allows users to capture photos and videos. The camera supports video recording at a resolution of 320p at 15 frames per second. While this is a relatively low video resolution and frame rate, it can still be useful for capturing simple video clips.

Memory

The Samsung DuosTV I6712 features 20MB of internal storage, which is quite limited and can quickly fill up with data. However, the device comes with a dedicated microSDHC card slot, allowing users to expand the storage capacity up to 32GB with a compatible memory card.
The phonebook of the Samsung DuosTV I6712 supports Photocall, which means users can add photos to their contacts to easily identify them. The device also supports call records, allowing users to keep track of their incoming, outgoing, and missed calls.

Sound and Features

The Samsung DuosTV I6712 has a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm jack for audio output. It also features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP for wireless connectivity. However, it does not have GPS for positioning. The device has an FM radio with RDS and micro USB 2.0 for wired connectivity. The phone is equipped with an accelerometer sensor. It supports messaging with SMS, MMS, Email, and IM. The browser includes WAP 2.0 and HTML.
It has built-in games and supports Java MIDP 2.0. Additionally, the Samsung DuosTV I6712 features digital TV, Facebook, Twitter, and a variety of media players such as MP3/WAV/WMA/AAC+ player and H.264/MP4 player. The device includes an organizer, document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), voice memo, and predictive text input.

Battery

The Samsung DuosTV I6712 comes with a removable Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery. The battery is capable of providing up to 504 hours of standby time and up to 9 hours of talk time. These figures indicate how long the phone can last on a single charge with moderate usage. The phone is available in Black color and was released in 2011 at a price of around 200 EUR.
