The Yota YotaPhone was a smartphone that was announced in December 2012. However, it has since been discontinued and is no longer available.

Design and Display

The Yota YotaPhone was a compact and lightweight smartphone, measuring 133.6mm x 67mm x 10mm and weighing just 146g. The device was built with Gorilla Glass 3, making it durable and resistant to scratches. The YotaPhone was equipped with a Micro-SIM card, allowing users to easily switch carriers if needed. The phone’s display was a 4.3-inch IPS LCD screen, providing clear and vibrant visuals with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. This display offered users a convenient and enjoyable viewing experience for activities such as browsing the web, watching videos, and playing games.

Performance

The Yota YotaPhone ran on the Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system, providing users access to many apps and services. The phone was powered by a Qualcomm MSM8960T Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, which featured a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU. These components allowed the YotaPhone to perform smoothly and efficiently, delivering quick and responsive performance for everyday tasks. The powerful chipset and the Android operating system made the YotaPhone a capable device for various uses, from productivity to entertainment.

Camera

The Yota YotaPhone was equipped with a 13 MP main camera capable of capturing high-quality photos with autofocus. The camera also featured an LED flash, allowing users to take well-lit photos in low-light conditions. The camera could record video at 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second, providing smooth and detailed video playback. The YotaPhone was equipped with a 1 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, which was sufficient for basic photography needs.

Memory

The Yota YotaPhone was equipped with ample internal storage, featuring 32GB of space to store all of the user’s important files, photos, videos, and apps. The device also came with 2GB of RAM, which helped to ensure smooth and responsive performance when multitasking or running demanding applications.

Sound and Features

The Yota YotaPhone was equipped with a loudspeaker, allowing users to enjoy audio playback without needing headphones or external speakers. The device also featured a 3.5mm headphone jack, providing a convenient way to connect wired headphones or speakers. For wireless connectivity, the YotaPhone was equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, which allowed for fast and reliable internet connectivity and the ability to create a Wi-Fi hotspot. Battery

The Yota YotaPhone was powered by a Li-Ion 1800 mAh non-removable battery, providing a reasonable battery life. The battery provided up to 282 hours of standby time and 22 hours of talk time, making it suitable for daily use. The YotaPhone was available in two colors, black and white, allowing users to choose a color that best suits their style. The device was priced at 420 EUR, making it a mid-range smartphone option for those who value a unique dual-screen design and innovative features.
