Lenovo announced that its first Snapdragon 8+ device – the Legion Y70 codenamed Halo will be released on August 18, 7 PM Chinese time. Lenovo also revealed some more information about the upcoming smartphone.
The camera can record high-quality video, including 8K at 30fps. It includes a 50MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, and an additional 13MP ultrawide module and a 2MP depth module. Lenovo’s Legion Y70 is bringing a battery with 68W charging and can do a 0-80% charge in 34 minutes. Lenovo claims that their gaming laptop will last 8.5 hours, play video for 18 hours and play music for 35 hours on a charge.
The phone that is expected to use an AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate will come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The software side should be covered by Android 12 and ZUI 13 on top.
